A performer, choreographer, producer, and educator, Erin has been working in contemporary dance since 1995.
After completing her training at Winnipeg’s School of Contemporary Dancers, and Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, Erin began her professional performance career with Le Groupe de la Place Royale.
Touring across Canada, Erin performed with numerous emerging and established choreographers, notably Ruth Cansfield Dance, Trip Dance (Karen Kuzak), Rachel Browne, Van Grimde Corps Secrets, and Public Recordings.
As a choreographer, Erin’s works have been presented in Montréal by Tangente, Studio 303, La Deuxième Porte a Gauche, the OFFTA, and les Maisons de la Culture. Her works have also been presented in Toronto, Halifax, Regina, Winnipeg, Tokyo, and Seoul.
In 2009, Erin formed a collaborative performer’s collective, Pixel Projects, to create and produce her own works alongside her fellow artists.
An experienced and sought after teacher, Erin works with professional, emerging and amateur artists through Regroupment Québécois de la Danse, L'Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Danse Toujours, Concordia University, The Winnipeg School of Contemporary Dancers, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, UQÀM and the National Theatre School of Canada.
Her current teachings encompass contemporary technique, somatic education, improvisation, choreography, dramaturgy and interpretation.
After receiving a BA in Dance (Honours), Erin has recently completed her master’s research applying sustainable practices in dance training and creation at UQÀM. She will be Artist in Residence at Concordia University in 2024.
