A performer, choreographer, and educator, Erin has extensive experience in contemporary dance.

After completing her training at Winnipeg’s School of Contemporary Dancers and Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, Erin began her professional performance career with Le Groupe de la Place Royale. Touring across Canada, Erin performed with numerous emerging and established choreographers, notably Ruth Cansfield Dance, Trip Dance (Karen Kuzak), Rachel Browne, Van Grimde Corps Secrets, and Public Recordings.

As a choreographer, Erin’s works have been performed in Toronto, Halifax, Regina, Winnipeg, Tokyo, and Seoul. In Montréal, Alcove and the Shallow End were presented by Tangente, Studio 303, La Deuxième Porte à Gauche, Le Gèsu, les Maisons de la Culture de Montréal, and l’OFFTA.

In 2009, Erin formed a collaborative performer’s collective, Pixel Projects, to create and produce her own works alongside her fellow artists. Pixel Projects served as an umbrella for cabaret performances by emerging choreographers and various dance film projects.

An experienced and sought-after teacher, Erin works with professional, emerging and amateur artists through Concordia University, Studio 303, Regroupement Québécois de la Danse, L'Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM), Danse Toujours, The Winnipeg School of Contemporary Dancers, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, UDM and the National Theatre School of Canada.

Her current teachings encompass contemporary technique, somatic education, anatomy, choreography, improvisation, dramaturgy, contact improvisation and interpretation.

After receiving a BA in Dance (Honours), Erin has recently completed her master’s research applying sustainable practices in dance training and creation at UQÀM. She was Artist in Residence at the Concordia Contemporary Dance department at Concordia University in 2024.
